Although each apartment offers a kitchen or kitchenette, there is a full service dining facility. Your apartment opens to a large main hallway; no more icy sidewalks. Everyone has a mailbox in the beautiful lobby, and there are many activities and events going on for residents to participate in.
Edgewood's health care professionals, nurses and other staff members are dedicated to your well-being. We provide or can arrange:
- Fine dining with three homemade meals daily
- Private apartments with walk-in showers
- Transportation to appointments
- Social, community, daily recreational activities and shopping trips
- 24 hour staffing
- Registered nurse on staff
- Ongoing assessments for health care monitoring

Edgewood participates in the Basic Care Assistance Program. This program helps individuals pay for the cost of residing in a licensed basic care community. It provides seniors with financial assistance they need, while maintaining their independence in a place they call home. Contact local social services office for more information. There are Long Term Care Insurance policies that may only pay for licensed basic care apartments.

Scott Bernstein, Executive Director,
is a North Dakota native, although he lived most of his life in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. Scott is very glad to be back home! His career path has been far from ordinary. Scott has been a Court Reporter, Pastor, Behavioral Analyst, part owner of a Math Learning Center and an Executive Director for Assisted Living communities. He earned an under graduate degree in Organizational Administration from Northwestern College and a Masters of Divinity from Bethel Seminary. Scott's best friend and love is his wife Sandi and they're both very proud of their sons and think their daughters-in-law are the best. They've also adopted a farm cat Pippin, that is incredibly spoiled. In his spare time, which is in short supply, Scott enjoys biking, music and reading about history.

Jill Becker, Clinical Services Director,
received a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the University of North Dakota and later earned a Master's degree in Management from the University of Mary. Jill has worked in numerous nursing leadership roles at Sanford Health (formerly Medcenter One) over the course of her 23- year career. She also worked for a time as a parish nurse at a local church. Jill was born and raised in North Dakota and married a North Dakota boy (Todd). They have three children and three grandchildren. Jill enjoys reading, vacationing in warmer climates and drinking (multiple) lattes weekly with her friends.

Stephanie McGregor, Marketing Director,
is responsible for the sales and marketing of the Edgewood Mandan community thru tours, promotion and community outreach. Stephanie is a Bismarck native who joined the Edgewood family in 2012 as Community Relations Coordinator at Bismarck Village and transitioned to Marketing Director of Edgewood Vista Mandan. Stephanie brings over 16 years of healthcare experience ranging from the hospital setting to skilled nursing care to assisted living. Before joining Edgewood Stephanie served as the Director of Senior Living of the Good Samaritan Society Assisted Living/Basic Care. Stephanie proudly serves as a member of the Community Elder Services Network committee, the Mandan Progress Organization and is currently the Vice president of the Mandan Kiwanis Club. She enjoys music, yoga, her pets and spending time with family. She and her husband Jeff reside in Bismarck and have two daughters and a son-in-law.

Lynn Boehm, Resident and Family Relations Director,
has a diverse professional, leadership and academic background; ranging from daycare owner/operator, production management and graphic design at a high-end photography studio, to Director of Marketing and Resource Development at another senior living community. Lynn is a Mandan native and received her degree in Mass Communications from the University of Mary, along with a minor in Business Communications and Public Information. In addition to her position at Edgewood, Lynn leads the Praise Team for First Lutheran Church in Mandan. She is a lover of music, animals and great shoes! Lynn and her husband Shawn have two children and reside in Mandan with their dog and two cats.

Beth Kroh, Business Office Director,
is a native of Mandan. She graduated from the University of Jamestown with a degree in Business Administration along with a Management concentration. During college she worked as an intern at The GOD'S CHILD Project in Bismarck, ND. For the past several years she has managed the business operations for her family's commercial beekeeping business in California and central North Dakota. While working with the family business, Beth started her own branch of the business specializing in local sales of their products. She also previously served as the Executive Assistant to the President of the American Honey Producers Association. Beth is happily married and has a young son.

Brenda Seagren, Dining Services Director,
began her career in 1995 at Golden Manor in Steele, ND. She started as a cook and was then given the opportunity to attend Dietary Management School at South Dakota State University's program for dietary management in Sioux Falls, SD. Brenda served as part of the management team and was with Golden Manor until 2000, when she moved to Nebraska with her husband. She worked in a skilled nursing home in Gothenburg,NE for 3 years and was then hired to work at a critical care hospital-clinic setting in Lexington, NE. Her customers ranged from hospital patients, clinic patients, catering food for kindergarten children, seniors living in a retirement facilities, as well as feeding working staff and doctors. Brenda was happy to move back home to North Dakota in 2005, where her children and grandchildren all reside. Since 2005 she has worked at The Terrace in Bismarck as their Dietary Manager. Brenda is excited to help open and manage the new Edgewood Vista Assisted Living community in Mandan.

Doug Sprynczynatyk, Environmental Services Director,
has lived and worked in the Bismarck/Mandan area all of his life. His career began as a Graphic Artist in a print shop of a local life insurance company. His mechanical skills were developed operating and fixing the printing equipment in the print shop. He then transitioned into building maintenance where he worked in a local bank and a local church before joining Edgewood Vista Mandan.

Mary Delzer, Life Enrichment Director,
is a native of Aberdeen, South Dakota. She worked as a CMA/CNA for Edgewood Vista from December 2005 to May of 2008, while attending nursing school. After receiving her degree she worked at St. Alexius as an LPN on the Women’s Surgery/ Mom Baby Unit for five years. Mary is excited to return to the Edgewood Vista communities as the Life Enrichment Director.Mary Enjoys being out on the river, fishing and walking. Mary and her husband live in Bismarck with their two boys.
